FAQS
How can we help you?
Gel Blasting is a simulated combat game in which players use gel blasters to shoot little gel beads (gellets) at one another. It is a fun way for individuals of all ages to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, enhance teamwork and communication.
Players aim to eliminate others by hitting them with gellets while evading incoming shots to win various games.
Gel blasters are toy guns that use water-absorbing beads (gellets) as ammunition which break apart upon impact.
Gel blasters come in a variety of styles: pistols, rifles, shotguns and even grenades.
Gel Blaster typically use a battery-powered air pump to propel the gellets out of the Blasters barrels.
Gel blasters are non-lethal and should not inflict serious injuries once the correct protective equipment is utilized.
The sting of the gellet on impact can intensify with a decrease in distance and an increase in velocity.
Everyone feels pain differently, so what might be a small sting to one person could be extremely painful to someone else.
We suggest firing from a short distance before using it in a game to understand how it feels.
The firing rate of gel toys are measured in frames per second (FPS). The greater the FPS, the greater the sting.
Gel Blasters range from 60 fps to 400 fps for the most powerful options.
Avoid giving children products with more than 150 frames per second.
When participating in games it is recommended to use protective glasses and safe guard any sensitive body parts.
Paintballs:
- Break upon impact, releasing paint.
- Are larger and heavier than gellets.
- Travel faster than gellets, which can make the impact feel more intense.
Gellets:
- Are smaller and lighter than paintballs
- Are designed to break upon impact
Gel blaster guns are slower than paintball guns, so gellets have less impact than paintballs
While the gel blasting experience is not painful, we do still recommend the following for maximum safety:
- Long sleeve shirt
- Long, loose fitting pants
- Fully enclosed shoes
- Head Scarf/ Bandana

The team at S-Cape Entertainment has four(4) types of gameplay defined:
Kill Confirm/ed: is a game mode where two teams of up to six(6) players try to eliminate each other and collect flags from fallen enemies. The first team, to collect the required number of enemy flags or the team with the most flags when the match ends wins the game. NB: Dead men can’t talk.
Capture the Flag: is a game mode where each team tries to take the other team’s flag and return to their home base without being tagged. If a player is tagged, they must return to their home base to respond. If a player who has stolen the flag is tagged, the flag is dropped exactly where the player was tagged and the player must return to their home base to respond.
Free for All: is a game mode in which each player in the arena is on their own and they have to tag anyone they see. It has endless respawns until the match ends either by one of the player reaching the target number of kills or by the set time running out. It is action packed as everyone is trying to tag.
Fortress: is a game mode that splits the group into two uneven teams. Defenders: who protect the king or queen and can be tagged as many times as they can handle without being eliminated. Attackers: Evading the guard(s) to eliminate the king or queen by tagging them.
